Under his direction, XKIG has pushed into adjacent service verticals and grown substantially into a coast-to-coast infrastructure services company with a reputation for operational reliability, safety-at-all-costs, and lasting customer partnerships.

As President, Benjamin leads the executive team, sets overall direction and strategy, ensuring alignment with XKIG goals. He is also responsible for defining the company’s technology vision. Known for advancing operational innovation and technological integration, his approach to top-down business intelligence empowers data-driven decision-making, transparent accountability and operational excellence across all corporate functions.

With over 30 years of experience as a consultant, adviser, and business executive, Michael has helped organizations navigate scale and transformation. He played a vital role in the Xylem and Kendall merger and integrated River City Construction into the XKIG portfolio. Michael’s demonstrated ability to boost top-line revenue, enhance operational efficiency, and control costs while building strong leadership teams will support XKIG’s long-term growth strategy.

Alan brings more than 30 years of financial and business leadership experience supporting high-growth organizations across multiple industries. Known for building finance teams that actively support operations and partner across functions, he brings a collaborative, field-focused approach that aligns with XKIG’s commitment to supporting crews, strengthening partnerships, and scaling with purpose.

As XKIG’s Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, Scott manages XKIG’s Legal Affairs & Risk Organization. This includes the Legal Department, Risk Management, Acquisitions and Commercial Transactions, Risk Finance and Insurance, Regulatory Strategy, and Policy functions. He is a member of the Executive Management Team.

Steve is a seasoned Human Resources executive with more than 25 years of experience leading high-performing teams and building people-first cultures. He brings deep expertise across all areas of HR, with a strong track record in employee engagement, organizational development, and mergers and acquisitions. Known as a trusted advisor and mentor, Steve helps organizations strengthen culture while driving operational and financial performance.

Megan brings extensive experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management across complex, highly regulated industries. At XKIG, she oversees the company’s governance framework and compliance programs, strengthening accountability, integrity, and operational excellence while supporting the organization’s continued growth, long-term stability, and commitment to doing business the right way.

Eileen is a CPA with 25+ years of experience, including 17 in public practice. She provided advisory, accounting, and auditing services to closely held businesses across various sectors. Her expertise covers generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), DCAA audit support, cost reporting, internal controls, process improvement, indirect rates, financial analysis, and small business compliance. As Chief Accounting Officer, she manages all accounting functions, the general ledger, and financial reporting to support FP&A teams.

Larry is an experienced operations and business development executive with over 30 years in the vegetation management industry. As the Chief Operating Officer at Kendall Vegetation Services, Larry manages a team of thousands of employees and supervises all aspects of service delivery, customer relations, contract negotiation, and financial performance for a portfolio of utility and municipal clients nationwide.

Jack has 35 years of vegetation management experience, with the last three as COO for Xylem Tree Experts. He is a transformative leader, trusted advisor, and subject matter expert, driving revenue and profitability both organically and through strategic acquisitions throughout the tree care industry. Jack is skilled at starting up and turning around organizations, negotiating complex agreements, and transforming operations to meet corporate objectives.

As Chief Operating Officer, Walter has strengthened River City’s reputation as a trusted partner to electric utilities, telecommunication companies, and other clients by upholding high standards of safety, quality, and service. With more than 20 years of industry experience, he drives the company’s strategic vision, ensures operational efficiency, and fosters strong relationships with employees and customers—earning the trust and respect that define River City’s success today.

Cindy, President of River City, is a licensed general contractor with over 40 years of experience in the power line construction industry. Her strategic, hands-on leadership has driven the company’s growth into a leading provider of utility construction and maintenance. With deep technical expertise and business acumen, she fosters a culture of innovation, safety, and accountability, while advancing inclusion and long-term vision across the organization.

Ragan has over 25 years of experience in the utilities industry, managing the operations and performance of multiple vegetation management contracts and projects across the Southeast region. He provides quality service and value to our clients, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and building long-term relationships with stakeholders and partners. Ragan is a Certified Arborist from the International Society of Arboriculture.

Barry has 40 years of experience in the vegetation management industry. He began his career as a groundsperson and has worked his way up to senior-level management. This background provides him with the knowledge and understanding of the daily challenges employees face, enabling him to deliver safe and professional services to our customers.

With over 30 years of experience in strategic marketing, Tom leads XKIG’s efforts to enhance brand visibility, support business growth, and strengthen stakeholder engagement across diverse markets. He is known for building high-performance teams that specialize in aligning marketing strategies with business objectives and elevating the brand’s voice in a competitive marketplace.

Paul has nearly 40 years of experience developing and implementing industrial, environmental, and chemical safety protocols related to ship repair, railroad transportation, power generation, natural gas liquefaction, and vegetation management. He establishes the company’s safety culture and manages all safety operations through the implementation of a Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) Program. Paul is a Tree Care Industry America Certified Tree Safety Professional and on the Board for Global EHS Credentialing (ABIH) Certified Industrial Hygienist. He is also a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists.

Chuck has over 25 years of experience leading and motivating complex operational organizations at the executive level. He manages a growing team that includes Fleet Management, Supply Chain, and Centralized Operations Support, and he is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, accurate data-driven decisions, resource optimization, and readiness across support functions.

Bryan has over 30 years of information technology experience, mainly with software development companies, including six years in the vegetation management industry. He is responsible for planning and executing all strategic and tactical IT objectives for XKIG, covering application development, system operations, and cybersecurity.

Avery heads the company’s Project Controls team, delivering powerful analytics that support both Operations and Finance. He brings deep expertise in monitoring production, forecasting performance, and translating data into actionable insights that drive results. Avery is recognized for his ability to bridge systems, teams, and data, and for his leadership in developing a robust Power BI program that continues to create measurable value across the organization.

John is a results-oriented and support-focused Human Resources leader with over 25 years of leadership and coaching experience. He oversees Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Quality and Compliance, Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, and DOT Compliance Teams. John uses AI in recruiting, candidate selection, and communicating with ESL candidates. He is a supporter of people-first initiatives, appreciative inquiry, skill building, and servant leadership.

Jim is responsible for M&A and corporate development initiatives across XKIG and its respective co-ops. Prior to XKIG, Jim worked for over six years at BCG within their private equity (PIPE) and utility practice areas. During his time at BCG, project types included, but were not limited to, commercial due diligence, growth strategy development and prioritization, and organization and operating model design.
