From the Field to the Boardroom: Randolph Hoover Joins TCIA Board of Directors

The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) has announced that Randolph Hoover, CEO of XKIG, has been appointed to its 2026 Board of Directors. Hoover was confirmed during TCIA’s February board meeting, bringing decades of experience and a strong commitment to advancing the tree care industry.

For XKIG, this appointment is more than just a professional milestone. It highlights the organization’s continued commitment to leading, innovating, and serving the industry.

With over 30 years of executive experience, Hoover has helped develop XKIG into a coast-to-coast utility infrastructure organization serving customers across the country. Under his leadership, the company has expanded through a clear strategic vision rooted in safety, operational excellence, and a strong value-based culture. Today, XKIG supports critical infrastructure via its family of companies, including Xylem Tree Experts, Kendall Vegetation Services, River City Construction, and Xylem Tree Care.

His appointment comes at a critical time for the tree care and utility vegetation management industry. As demand for reliable energy infrastructure and resilient systems increases, organizations across the country are being called to operate with greater precision, safety, and accountability.

Through his role on the TCIA Board, Hoover will help guide industry priorities, promote best practices, and shape the future of arboriculture and vegetation management across the country.

At XKIG, we see this as a reflection of what truly matters: leadership that serves, expertise that raises standards, and a dedication to doing things the right way for our customers, our communities, and the industry at large.
